Keeping things the same at the top of the Sabres organization was just as important as the upcoming free agency period, maybe even more so if you consider the stability, trust and familiarization they bring in returning to not only the players, which is huge, but the fans as well.

It wasn't that long ago that almost any fan wanted to drop the tandem off at the nearest bus station and run. But as fan's we must tip our hat to them for sticking with this team through some pretty rough years. I think it's awesome that they getting the accolade's they not only deserve but have earned, and the teams have prospered and the fans have reaped in the benefits of there success as well.
