The saga is over: Sabres sign Pratt

It's official.

WGR 550 is confirming the news that the Buffalo Sabres have come to terms on a deal with defenseman Nolan Pratt.

Pratt, 32, began working out with the team while the Sabres were playing road games in Florida. He becomes the only player in the Sabres locker room with a Stanley Cup ring, which he won with the Lightning in 2004.

Pratt will not be in the lineup tonight when the Sabres take on the Bruins in Beantown. Michael Ryan will also be a healthy scratch. Puck drops at just after 7.
